For months and months my 1989 Nissan Sentra had a jerkiness from misfiring. A friend of mine finally fixed it as best he could. He said he thought the problem was the injectors and that I probably should add some fuel injector cleaner. A lot of the rough movement did dissipate. But enough remained to cause a real annoyance. The latest repair was three to four weeks ago.
On the 24th of February I went to visit a friend of mine who knows a lot about mechanical problems. He rode in the car, felt the missing and surmised that there may be electrical problems. He said that after I explained that I had treated my fuel system with the other leading brand for two tanks.
Later that evening, at the Indio Date Festival, I ran into your boutique at the shopping mall there. I bought both DFT and Maxilube. Sunday, the 25th, I added the DFT to the gas. Within minutes the change was noticeable. After a trip to San Diego the following day, 147 miles, the problem vanished.
